We sent Kristen Bor from Bearfoot Theory to check out the highlights, and she was stoked to experience the Southern charm and laid-back vibe. Plan to spend at least a long weekend here, with stops to explore Congaree National Park and a float down the Saluda River. Columbia is a bike-friendly town as well; renting bikes and cruising around the historic district and Columbia Canal is a great way to take in the city.
