Texas Gulf Coast: Taking on Land, Sea, and Sky

In episode one, the Waltons explore the Gulf Coast region of Texas. The day begins at Galveston Fishing Pier for fishing and birdwatching, followed by a visit to the Houston Space Center to learn about science and see one of the original space shuttles. Next, they travel to Armand Bayou Nature Center to spy the local wildlife up close on a relaxing boat ride before ending the day with a dinner of fresh fish at Pier 6 Seafood & Oyster House.
