Bina was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and graduated from the University of Toronto. She is Korean and has always been a lover of “K-Everything” with most influence from her mother who immigrated from Korea before she was born. She is also a published author, having written a book with Skyhorse Publishing titled “K-POP A To Z: The Definitive K-Pop Encyclopedia.” She is currently a features editor and writer for the Korean entertainment website Soompi.
