James Bianchi is a freelance photographer based in Southern California, having managed to find the coast after 14 years of childhood in Minnesota. His upbringing as a Boy Scout and avid traveler has laid the foundation for his aesthetic, which features bold colors and vast landscapes in often surreal manners. Inspired by the intensely calming effect of total immersion in nature, his VISUAL THERAPY project is an ongoing series that reflects the magnitude of the places he visits and conveys the emotions involved with venturing to each location. When he's not traveling, James splits his time between fashion, street and commercial photography, and finding the best fish tacos within a reasonable walking distance from his apartment.
