Michaela Joyce D’Amico is a passionate international human rights and environmental justice activist, listener/talker, peace-maker, artist and athlete. Also a student on the side, she will graduate from Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 2010 with a degree in International Affairs, minor in Sociology, Spanish and Social Entrepreneurship. She has worked with Global Exchange in San Francisco, EF Educational Tours in Boston and most recently, Amazon Watch in Quito Ecuador. She is now back in Ecuador to continue her work with the landmark environment lawsuit against Chevron's abuse to the people and land of the Amazon rain forest.
