Based in Manhattan after 25 years primarily a travel writer and editor in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. Assignments took me from Bhutan to Brazil, South Korea to South Africa, Cambodia to Cook Islands. Also worked in all areas of the publishing business in North America and Asia: branding, new business development, and developing and overseeing high-end consumer publications. This includes launch editor and editor-at-large of Travel + Leisure's Asia, its largest offshore edition. Writing on under-the-radar destinations, hot destinations, food, culture, cruises, and luxury hotels and resorts, articles appeared in Prestige Hong Kong, DestinAsian, Premier Traveler, The Global Post, Robb Report, Tatler, Wall Street Journal, Politico, and other publications.
