TR: That is a very complimentary thing to say! I have been able to visit New Zealand, Mexico, France, Canada, England, Japan, and almost all of the states in our wonderful country. Next year, I hope to go to a Sexpo convention in Africa and Australia. Fingers crossed!
I just got back from Oregon and my next stops are Pittsburgh and San Diego. I love traveling, meeting new people, and experiencing unique cultures. I am really lucky my job allows me to do that.
What travel destination was hands-down the most amazing place you’ve visited?
I love traveling for leisure. That’s really the best way, isn’t it? My favorite spots for fun have been Australia and Maui. I just can’t get enough of the sun and beach babes. I love to just lie by the ocean with a cocktail and party at night. It’s amazing to me how stunning the ocean is and how little we know about it.
And which was the biggest nightmare?
Honestly, I have yet to have any work-related nightmares. Thank God because I can only imagine what one would be like. I can say that the downside of flying every weekend is just the trip to LAX…and the overpacking problem I have. I’m a literal shopaholic and I have a fear that I will become a hoarder. So as you can imagine, packing is just a nightmare.
Also, sometimes when I travel domestically I fly the same day as I work, and that to me is not fun. I will never get used to it and I really need my sleep and rest. So the fact that I dance after I land is astonishing, and I know alcohol is fueling that routine. Ha!
How has visiting these places enriched your experience in the adult entertainment industry?
Traveling for me goes hand in hand with adult entertainment. Meeting my fans, spreading the word about XXX, and just being able to experience different cultures is really advantageous.
One time someone said to me that you can tell a lot about a country’s culture by the pornography they produce. I didn’t quite realize what they meant, but after shooting a few movies in Japan I quickly knew exactly what they were referring to: morals, social norms, women’s rights, openness of people. Everything can be intertwined in the adult business.
I know it’s a bit cliché, but is there any landmark or location that you’re dying to have sex in, or on?
I would absolutely love to be able to have sex somewhere in or on the Eiffel Tower. That sounds romantic and glamorous, doesn’t it?
Are there certain countries you’ve explored where porn carries less of a taboo than in America?
Europe. I love France, England, Norway, and just the whole vibe of European free sex culture. The cinema over there and the content they shoot are totally different than in the US. Not just the porn, but the mainstream stuff is very sexual, open, free, not at all as judgmental and close-minded as in the States. I love the US, don’t get me wrong, but if you ever watch a mainstream Rocco Siffredi movie from Europe you’ll get a taste of what I’m talking about.
Is there any erotic item you’ve traveled with that TSA considered a threat to national security?
Lube…oh, my beloved black bottle of lube. My ex-boyfriend and I were going on a vacation and they recognized him in TSA, which was fine, but then they searched his bag and pulled out the giant bottle of my favorite and very expensive lubricant. We were both so pissed because he was “well-endowed” and we actually needed it.
While porn conventions continue to pop up in major cities all over the world, what city really treats porn stars better than rock stars?
Chicago. I love Chicago. They have the warmest and friendliest fans. They are so appreciative that the adult industry travels all the way over to them just to meet-and-greet and sign photos and movies. If every convention were like Chicago’s, I would want to go weekly!
Being a popular feature dancer requires you to travel to random places all across America. Which destinations get you most excited to visit for work?
I enjoy Vegas and New York because the clubs are usually pretty large and upscale, as well as populated and well promoted. My mind changes a lot, though. I was in San Fran last month and that was incredible, too! I go to Ohio the most. Not too sure why, but they love adult stars!
When you finally get a break from your demanding schedule, what’s your favorite location to relax and not think about life in the spotlight?
Right now: Big Sur. I took my mom there for Thanksgiving and I’m returning there for my birthday in January! It’s so peaceful and lovely and gorgeous and scenic and OMG I could go on about it. I went to boarding school there for my sophomore year of high school and there’s just nothing to compare.
Since you’ve clearly seen your fair share of exotic locations, what country or city is next on your ‘must visit’ list?
Greece. I want to go live in one of those pretty white houses on the hill that overlooks the ocean. Now I’m going to go look up vacation rentals. See you later!
