It’s common to think about urban spaces as boring and play. And while this might be true in some cases, this list of the world’s most colorful cities shows how urban spaces can elevate into works of chromatic art.

1

If you're looking for a colorful apartment building to live in, look no further than Singapore. Blocks of apartments of every color are scattered across the city, and you only need to look up to find them.

2

To the west of Singapore, you will find Yung Kuang. While it's fairly common to see square or rectangular forms, across Asia, every once in a while you'll find something diamond shaped.

3

Hong Kong has some amazing colorful buildings. Head to Choi Hung to find the best one around.

4

You can't visit Dubai without seeing the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. And what better place to see it than from a rooftop in the middle of the city?

5

While on a speedy dash to find a spot to catch the sunrise in Dubai, we came across this viewpoint on the Palm. Just in time to see this small fishing boat making its way out to the sea.

6

How crazy is it that so many people own a drone nowadays? This was one of my favorite drone shots from Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay. Interesting what you can find from a new perspective.

7

Even the universities in Singapore are picturesque. This is the Hive, the learning hub at the Nanyang Technological University, which looks like dim sum baskets from the outside and a beehive from the inside.

8

This market was as exciting for the nose as it was for the eyes. If you're ever looking for a city that will completely overwhelm all your senses, New Delhi is the place to go.

9

If you think Hong Kong’s Quarry Bay couldn't get any better, check it out at night! The apartment block comes alive when the sun goes down.

10

One of the most iconic buildings in Hong Kong, Quarry Bay portrays the city’s character in a nutshell. If I ever move to Hong Kong, this is where you'll find me.

11

If you're looking for somewhere to go roof topping, Shanghai is the place to do it. This sunset shot is from one of my favorite rooftops in Shanghai, with unparalleled views of the city.

12

SOHO office buildings are present in a number of Asian cities, but Tokyo is home to my favorite. I wouldn't mind working a 9-5 here!

I was taking some drone photos of a university in Singapore when I stumbled across this view of one of the study buildings. How cool is this!
