Virgin Atlantic is planning a Pride flight from London to NYC on June 28th, 2019, and tickets just went on sale. Hosted by Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star Tituss Burgess, and staffed entirely by LGBTQ crew and pilots, the flight will be “a true celebration of queer culture 38,000 feet above the Atlantic,” according to Virgin’s website. Burgess will MC the entertainment portion of the flight, which includes a DJ, Drag Queen Bingo, a Judy Garland singalong, inflight speed dating, and live performances.

Mark Anderson, executive vice president of Virgin Atlantic and global LGBTQ lead for Virgin Group, said, “We’re not the type of company to mark an occasion like this half-heartedly: we’re going to be pulling out all the stops…we take our commitments to diversity and inclusion seriously, but you can rest assured we have a lot of fun along the way.”

The Pride flight will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall riots, which are considered to have ignited the gay rights movement in the US. The month-long 2019 Pride in NYC will also celebrate Stonewall, with over 50 live events, including marches, parties, speakers, performances, films, and of course, the Pride march on June 30th.

The flight is one-way only, with economy tickets starting at $500, and $922 for a three-night room and flight package. Return dates are flexible. To book your seat on the Pride flight, check out Virgin’s official booking site.
