Every Virgin Voyages’ cruises from Miami include a day stop at the cruise line’s Beach Club at Bimini in the Bahamas. The Beach Club, which was acquired by Virgin Voyages in 2021, consists of a large swathe of the island of Bimini, where you’ll find a long stretch of private beach, as well as two lagoon-style pools, both of which are furnished with loungers and umbrellas. There are inflatables for guests to relax or play in the pool, and a food-and-drink venue that offers a variety of cocktails, mocktails, and Bahamian-inspired food. There is no fee for Virgin Voyages guests to enjoy the Beach Club, but poolside drinks and private cabanas come at a cost. (Renting a beachfront cabana, which can accommodate up to five guests and includes one round of drinks, starts at $960.) If you don’t want to hang out all day at the Beach Club, however, the cruise line offers shore excursions such as snorkeling, jetskiing, and kayaking tours when in Bimini.
