Artist and adventurer Rachel Pohl was seeking new inspiration and found it all across South Dakota. As a plein air painter, she was fascinated by the changing light in the Badlands and the rich colors of the Black Hills. And as an avid angler, rider, and climber, she found uncrowded trails and beautiful fishing waters from Rapid Creek to Black Elk Peak to the Iron Creek Drainage. Wherever you go in South Dakota, you’ll find a sense of space that’s unlike anywhere else in America. Come see it for yourself.
