Welcome to Dickson Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas

The "5th best place to live in the country" might surprise you. In fact, you might not have heard of Fayetteville, AR, but you’ll be glad you have now. Despite being the 3rd largest city in Arkansas, its 83,000 residents mean it doesn't feel huge and can maintain a quirky vibe.

Dickson Street is the main vein of the city, where you’ll find unique spots—like Dickson Street Bookshop, with a rare book collection dating back 300 years. Craft brew, artisan coffee, and live music are all part of the city’s pulse. And they’ve just become one of only a few dozen cities in the nation (and the first in the state) to pass a 100% renewable energy pledge. Fayetteville is set to have 100% community-wide clean energy by 2050. Hoorah!
