Angela Liu

Angela Liu is a native New Yorker who has lived and worked in Tokyo and Shanghai for the past eight years. Raised by a Chinese tiger mom, New York’s infinite sarcasm, and Japan’s futuristic eccentricity, she writes stories about the beauty and loneliness of the people and places she encounters around the world. She has worked in music, advertising, and IT consulting. Currently a nomad with home bases in both NYC and Tokyo, she works as a freelance writer, photographer, and creative strategist for several global brands.
