I don’t know if breakfast is really the most important meal of the day or if that’s just the most successful marketing campaign in history, but what I can say for sure is it is definitely my favorite meal. I know I’m not alone in this passion for the first meal of the day, even though breakfast means very different things depending on where you are in the world.

For me (Spain), it means orange juice, a latte, and bread or cookies. In other parts of the world it includes meat or eggs or rice or vegetables or pretty much anything eatable you can think of. The guys at CityBase Apartments have taken a look at what that first meal looks like in 27 different countries around the world and created this handy infographic with the information.
