RVing and exploring national parks are activities that are rising in popularity this summer, as safe adventure alternatives to traditional travel options. Now, an internet provider is giving people a way to do both, and get paid for it in the process. Satellite Internet is launching a “Digital Detox Challenge,” where the winner gets to spend three days in an RV to a national park of their choice.
Get Paid $1,000 to Take an RV Trip to the National Park of Your Choice
The winner will receive $1,000 and get reimbursed for the RV rental, food, camping fees, and transportation to the campsite up to $1,000. Winners will be paid $400 upfront and an additional $600 upon completion of the digital detox. What may present a problem for some people, however, is that you won’t be allowed to use the internet for the first 48 hours, which is a unique stipulation for an internet company. After the first two days, you’ll be allowed to share your experience online.
According to the “job” posting, Satellite Internet is looking for “a weekend warrior ready for awe-inspiring outdoor action in the national park of their choice. Whether you’re a city slicker, a suburban student, or a rural resident, we welcome anyone to apply who’s looking for a little more nature time. To start your digital detox, you must be eligible to work in the US, 25 years or older, and able to drive legally in any state you’ll travel through.”
To apply, just fill out the entry form by September 23. A winner will be announced by midnight on the same day.
