It’s June, and cities around the globe are hosting Pride Month celebrations. This year marks 50 years since the 1969 Stonewall Riots, when the LGBTQ community of Greenwich Village, in New York City, rebelled against police raids in one of the few places the gay community was openly welcomed in the 1960s. The movement stood as a launching point for LGBTQ rights in the United States, and these global hotspots are aligned for diversity, inclusivity, and openness.
