Writers and poets have always been inspired by nature. This is especially true in the UK, whose Lake District is behind the works of wordsmiths like Wordsworth, Beatrix Potter, or Coleridge. Located in the North West of England, within the county of Cumbria, its influence on literature is so high many of these writers are known as the Lake Poets — poets who lived in the Lake District at the turn of the 19th century.
