Mapped: countries and territories with risk of Zika
THE Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), created a map to show the areas of the world where transmissions of Zika virus have been reported.
Note that there is no vaccine or medicine for Zika and that prevention is the name of the game to slow down the spread of the virus. If you are a traveler and this map sets off a wave of anxiety about the extent of the virus, take a breath and consult Matador Network’s resource pages about Zika.
