Learning to say “I love you” in as many languages as possible might seem like a party trick, but it could be more useful than you think. While “how are you?” and “my name is…” are typically the first phrases we are taught when studying a new language, there is nothing quite as powerful as being able to tell someone that you love them in their native tongue.
