Children might be better at keeping themselves entertained than adults, but weeks of staying indoors is bound to make even the best-behaved children restless. In a world where many parents are now tasked with working from home and entertaining their children at the same time, graphic journalist and best-selling illustrator Wendy MacNaughton is trying to make life easier on parents by hosting a live drawing class for children daily on Instagram.

McNaughton’s 30-minute #drawtogether classes are held Mondays through Fridays, at 1:00 PM ET, and include songs, deep breathing exercises, and most importantly, plenty of time to draw. Come to think of it, parents could probably benefit from these classes as well.
As many schools are closed for the remainder of the school year, MacNaughton plans to offer classes for at least the next few months. Classes can be accessed via the “live” button on her Instagram page. All the classes from the past week are available on YouTube.
