otor vehicles are banned on the Indonesian island of Gili Trawangan so it's up to these hard-working horses to keep the infrastructure running. Thousands of tourists come and go each day without taking time to consider the toll it's taking on these animals. Thankfully in recent years, much has been done to improve their quality of life.
