Ancient healing tradition or pure old-fashioned quackery? You decide.

His name was Pablo Falcon, a Native American healer living in New Mexico. He was on a show called Human Urine-Elixir for Good Health? airing on the National Geographic Channel, showcasing an ancient healing tradition: the practice of drinking one’s own urine.

Yes, he drank his own urine; a cup a day, usually in the morning, catching the first stream in mid discharge.

He drank it straight, like a shot of whiskey, but sometimes sipped it like a hot toddy on a cold moonless night. It was Pablo Falcon’s preventative medicine-urine therapy, or uropathy.

I was young. That’s disgusting, I thought. Years later, I re-discovered Pablo’s delinquency, but until then I remained ignorant of my body’s golden elixir as though it was an enigma, hidden from the alchemy of health within a toxic world.

To others it’s tradition, but among a modernizing world tradition is perceived as primitive.

At The Mercy Of Sickness

Out in the world, I forgot about Pablo. I forgot about the ways of the warrior, the ways of the body, and its own powerful remedies.

I forgot about these things because I was falling apart. I was in India, and my body was aching, my head spinning, my nose divulging a sinewy greenness, my intestines constricting, my sphincter bleeding.

But I did not forget about Gandhi.

I was participating in the 75th anniversary of Mohandas K. Gandhi’s Salt March, and here I was falling apart, literally bleeding out of multiple orifices.

And what could I do? Whine? Complain? Go to a hospital because I wasn’t feeling well? The Peace Walk wasn’t about me, or about any of the other walkers from nine different nations. The Peace Walk was for those of India, and a universal Peace for Mother Earth and Her inhabitants.

A young Japanese living in Nepal came up to me. He was Morita and he saw through to my pain. The man I hardly knew handed me a plastic cup as we took lunch. “Take this,” he said in a hush. Around us others slept. “Go pee, and drink as much of it as you can.”

I was stunned. I had forgotten Pablo Falcon. I had forgotten my own body and its power. At that time, I was only cursing it. “What?”

“You want to get better?” Morita asked.
I nodded.

“Then pee and drink.”

The First World Conference

In 1996, a group of urine therapists put on the First World Conference of Urine Therapy.

Held in India, the conference on the art of drinking urine brought together doctors, scientists, practitioners and believers into one room to exalt the benefits, seek out the contradictions, and bring awareness, drive and inspiration to a deepened scientific study of this clandestine cure.

They read testimonials of miraculous recoveries. They reviewed the studies of urine and its components. They compared their own experiences, treatments and applications. They found no contradictions.

Found in the ancient Vedic culture of Hinduism, urine therapy holds another name, Shivambu Kalpa Vidhi, or The Waters of Shiva. In the five thousand year-old Damar Tantra text, the writings recall Shiva as he unleashes his secrets of a healthy mind, body and soul to his wife, Parvati.

The text, or sutra, is one of the oldest known documents on healing, one that directly encompasses one’s own body-the ailment and the cure as one. It claims no association with external remedies, but solely describes the power and wisdom of the body under healthy eating habits.

It was Mahatma Gandhi who spoke:

The human body is the best portrayal of the universe in miniature. Whatever does not exist in the human body cannot be found in the universe, and whatever exists in the universe can be found in the human body.

Not only does the Vedic culture find complete truth within one’s own being, but ancient medical scriptures of the Egyptians, Chinese, Aztecs and Christians hint at this secret. In Proverbs 5:15 of the Old Testament, it is He who lets it be known: Drink water from thy own cistern, and the streams of thy own well.

The Workings Of The Body

human urineWhat comes to mind is shit and piss, two ways of excreting toxins from the body.

The former-yes.
The latter-no.

When it comes to the process of making urine, there is one large misunderstood nomenclature: Urine is dirty. It picks up all your body’s dirty liquids and whizzes them into a smelly bowl. It’s crap. But what you forgot about is this baroque process.

We eat. We drink. We ingest and we digest. Solid matter is sent into the stomach, churned, macerated and spit out from the intestinal tracks after absorbing the good, the bad and the ugly. With liquids, most, if not all, are absorbed into the bloodstream.

From there they flow around, swimming like Chinese fighting fish. Through the limbs, the core, from the spine into the skull, within the tongue and around-the substances of our blood are everywhere before entering its first cleansing phase. This would be the liver.

With health, all things operate accordingly; on time, in rhythm. As the blood enters the liver it becomes the stone within the refinery. The liver is the detoxifier of our blood, removing poisonous products, secreting them or storing waste in the gall bladder, which ends up as bile.

From here, the blood flows to the kidneys. Coen van der Kroon, in his urine therapy guide Golden Fountain, describes how “they remove all superfluous vital substances from the blood, and filter out a surplus of water.”

These leftovers are the diamonds emerging from the refinement. They are the matter that form urine-simply the leftovers from the body’s water and nutrients. And a healthy diet is key.

A Cure For Life’s Ills?

Despite varying ranges of lifestyles, urine at best is an elixir; it is the water of life.

In J.W. Armstrong’s The Water of Life, homeopath and naturopath Ellis Barker quotes that “our body distills the most wonderful medicines and provides the most perfect serums and antibodies.” In fact, the list of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids and hormones runs long.

One of these powerful byproducts is urea; an organic compound of carbamide containing carbon, nitrogen, oxygen and hydrogen.

With this knowledge, pharmaceuticals have discreetly capitalized on urine’s power, incorporating urine in anti-cancer prescriptions as well as blood-clot dissolvers, ointments, hand creams, lotions and soaps.

Your very own urine is known to have a significant effect on the following diseases:

Adrenal failure, AIDS/HIV, allergies, cancer, candida, colds & flu symptoms, colitis, dandruff, diabetes, diarrhea, ear & eye troubles, eczema, gangrene, gout, heart disease, hepatitis, herpes, hyperactivity, jaundice, lupus, mononucleosis, multiple sclerosis, pancreatic insufficiency, psoriasis, rashes, rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, sciatica, warts and more.

Research remains limited, and the guesses as to why are as many as urine’s benefits. If humankind began sipping, fasting, massaging, gargling, douching, eye and ear-dropping, sniffing, injecting, compressing, rubbing, bathing, shampooing and giving oneself an enema all with one’s own urine, doctors would become unneccesary.

The pharmaceutical industry would collapse. Chemicals would be cleansed from peoples’ bodies. Man & woman would be healthy, strong and immune. And the billions of dollars going toward the chemical-dependent world could be spent on more worthwhile causes – like education.

A holy temple. An elixir. The cause and effect in one. The ailment and medicament together.

Your body’s urine is anything but wasteful. It is the gift, sanctified through the internal processes and given to you once more for complete health, detoxification and rejuvenation.

All hearsay. Any scientific proof and research in scientific parametre to prove this? Dont believe this. It is like ghost stories without any proof.

    • Frank

The only reason there are no studies to prove any of it is that there is no money to be made from it …

Never ceases to amaze me how quickly supposedly “rational”, “scientifically minded” people are to dismiss out of hand – despite all evidence to the contrary – anything that does not neatly slot into their preconceived world-view.

    • steve

Re”4 year old urine will be to acid , 7 days is long enough you can also mix with fresh , but you can burn the skin if you leave it on to long with a cloth ,this has been reported ,
a good massage for 1 hour into the skin works wonders, you skin will feel like a baby.

Urine therapy walks like a duck and quacks like a duck. Quackery. Have a read at Why Bogus Therapies Often Seem to Work (http://www.quackwatch.com/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/altbelief.html) and reevaluate the power of your piss.

    • Pete

Read up about iatrogenic illness and re-evaluate the power of your “medicines”.

  • Adam

Without research from refereed journals (and this is excluding the obvious and improper use of Wikipedia – see ‘urea’) this article holds no water. But even beyond this glaring problem, some basic biology is just as sufficient to debunk the argument. Urine is in fact a way in which the body excretes toxins. In particular, hydrophilic compounds that the liver cannot remove.

This barrage may come off as harsh, and I don’t expect people to be self-prescribing from what amounts to an opinion piece, but claims without references just propagate myths.

  • http://www.bravenewtraveler.com ian mackenzie

Aha! I figured this piece would stir some controversy. I’m skeptical myself — to the point i have no plans on trying it out…unless a life or death situation presented itself.

  • http://www.gobackpacking.com/Blog Dave

In an episode of Man vs. Wild, adventurer Bear Grylls was in a desert environment showing survival techniques. He pissed on his shirt and wrapped it around his head to keep cool. Yuck.

  • http://www.cam2yogi.com cam2yogi

I agree with many of these comments. I find it bizarre that throughout my research I found no scientific proof, and hence, found a more intriguing reason as to why this article should be written (based on experience and opinion – as well as published research) and put out there.
In fact, what inspired me to dig into my memory and expand from there was the show Man vs. Wild.
While in the Kenya, having parachuted into the gresslands, Bear Grylis was in need of water. He took his risks, went back to his training which no other citizen could receive unless by a professional, and squeezed a pile of elephant shit over his head, draining the liquid into his mouth (and all over his face)… The man obviously survived and continues to do so… And heresy propounded, when on the road traveling and in risk of death, one might remember the myth passed down from elders through generations’ word of mouth. But it’s up to the believer on what to believe.

Health benefits aside: there is an undoubted presence of social conditioning affecting our views of bodily fluids. To me, that’s almost the most interesting observation. Why does the thought of drinking urine produce an immediate reaction of disgust?

  • Mat

As true as that might be,

I’m not drinking urine. Not with the ‘piss in the cup and reingest it’ method in any case.

If it changed colour and flavour, I’d be all for it. Call it Excre-Ade and make a drink out of it.

  • linda

Ive started UT since a few days and im gonna stick to it ive just decided! Why? because my excema is disappearing (was really bad after allergy reaction caught in africa), no more obstipation, my eyes look great..like a young girl’s (im 30 something ;-) and my skin as well; pimples, scars are disappearing as well. Besides that it seems to relieve stress. I assume because of the melatonin?

    cheers! Linda

  • saraz

I’ve been doing it for a while, I/m 50 with NO wrinkles and bad acne scars are almost gone. Also I am much calmer and happier. No negative effects whatsoever.

  • http://www.carsworldonline.com Pol Car Guy

    GREAT information!
You know what I have tried it and when you understand the process it make sense.

I am a vegetarian and when you think of it people eat DEAD animals which it is even more disgusting then drinking your own pee if you ask me.
AND when you know that some people out there are thinking about profits first and not your health, it makes you wonder.

Take your health in your own “hands” and pee in that cup…you ll be glad you did!
    Thx!

My partner’s had giardia around 14 times, once without access to medication. Urine fixed it, tho she didn’t like it!

I can understand the need for those who are desperate to find a cure to a terminal or chronic illness…

I also believe that the pharmaceutical companies do care only about the bottom line…

However, I’ve been looking for a while now for real solid clinical evidence (the raw data if possible) to confirm or dispute this alternative therapy since a good friend of mine tried it…and I’ve been thus unsuccessful…

If anyone out there has a reference for a peer reviewed journal dealing with the benefits of urine therapy based on an actual study and not anecdotal information, please send to: pshollett@hotmail.com

The only way I’d drink my own urine is if I was stranded without water…since urine is 95% water it can help sustain you, and has saved lives for those unfortunate enough to be forced to drink their own urine to survive….as for a cure for cancer (or other diseases)? I’d like to see the evidence.

    • Monica

Peer review journal my ass, Yes, that it is the answer to skeptics, I Have been using my urine for hormone therapy after becoming menopause and this is not anecdotal, please it is in the Bible you have your own medicine walking with you. It is within you. I couldn’t understan how I was using horses hormones in my body and didn’t understand how the FDA and FSA diidn’t disclosed to the general public that these approved hormones drugs were giving cancer to the laboratory rats before they approved the drugs. So to all of you asking for peer review journals go and have a life, or better yet tell the FDA that the internet have given us more security in what we put in our mouths than what they have approved to kill us all!!!!

  • rachana

i believe in it.an my dad has yested it but its difficult to convince others to belive it. help in getting some scientific data.

Everyone sniggered and laughed when I brought up the issue of Urine therapy. No one including me tried anything. A couple of years later my elderly mother started having problems with her hands and found it increasingly difficult to open the fingers. She was told that it was arthritis and it hasn’t got a cure. She did try a lot of medication with no improvement. Then very reluctantly ( without telling anyone – including me ) she tried urine therapy including pouring the urine over the palm and fingers. Today her hands are fine . No sign of the old problem. I must andmit that a few times over the last couple of years I noticed that her fingers were quite normal and wanted to ask her how it had recovered so completely. Then I thought my memory was playing tricks.
I found out only a few days ago when she said that others ougth to know and so she decided to tell me. So here it is for what it’s worth . For troubled people use it if you you want to get help from nature which always knows best. Otherwise just discard it and continue as you were. Thank God for Nature !

  • Elsa

Can someone tell me if you have been doing Urine Therapy and healed from skin discoleration, I am having a lot of skin problem and would like to hear from testimonials who have been healed thanks to this therapy.

    Thanks.

Do not be to quick to dimiss Cameron Karsten’s suggestion as the Universe is as the mystics say a mirror reflection of itself from the macro into the micro.

The hidden teachings of all secret societies is without fail associated with bodily fluid. One can just look at the word secretion and a secret is shown.

  • Lee

Ok I confess, I started doing it because I am overweight and I am at my wits end. This is first week and I must admit to feeling a bit more energy and my skin does appear to be somewhat softer. I am trying to switch from eating a lot of meat because I am a great lover and devourer of meat and fast foods. Now I eat so much green stuff even though it is on my last nerve.

I plan to stick with it because after all I already drank it so it cannot get worse if I continue. I hopefully will be able to say more about how this works.

I started out by first smelling it and contrary to what I thought it does not smell bad and it really does not taste awful as I would have thought. I did gag on it a couple of times tho but it was just from the thought of what I was actually doing.

Anyway I am in for a penny so I might as well jump in for the whole pound while I am at it and stick to it.

  • c.r

Im not sure if i would go as far as drinking urine. I guess the thought of it tasting awful is a definate turn off. However, I must admit that I remember my aunt pooring a few drops of urine in our ear when we were sick and had ear aches. I confess that i remember It working miracles. It wasnt till a few years ago that I dared to try it myself. My 4 year old nephew was over and woke up in the middle of the night criying and in pain. After attempting to put him to sleep, no way of reaching my sister and not being able to leave the house( sitting another 4 kids) I dared to do the urine method i remembered as a kid. I had him pee in a cup and poored a bit in his ear. I swear he whined for about another 10 minutes and then was out like a light. He spent another 2 days with me and never once complained of the ear ache again. I was a bit afraid in trying it but it worked!

  • http://intensedebate.com/people/eyamba eyamba

yeah! tried it and worked wonders……had this discusting breakout,i used a lot of prescibtions form expensive tropic creams and lotions to cleansers, truth is they never worked……..i gave in to urine therapy just for benifit of doubt and believe me it WORKED.
i am not an advocate, but i wouldn't hide the FACT .,…instead of badmouthing give it a trial then u can blab if it doesn't.
though with disgust i drank urine every morning for 3 weeks and cleaned my face with it using a cotton ball…now my face is smooth, supple and the spots and discoloration have cleared out….IT IS WONDERFUL.
this days when i pee in the toilet i feel i'm being wasteful….very funny but true!!!!!!

  • Ron H.

Yes, it does work! I’ve been doing with for a few weeks now, ad I have alot less stress. My ears and eyes are better. And my hair feels better….much softer than before. I drink a cup every morning, wash my hair with it. With this bad economy (in the USA at least) I cannot afford doctors & expensive medicines. And yes, they DO put urine n many products, like soaps, pills, etc….I recall a guy on the radio, Gary Null, talk about this back in 1994, on his show “Natural Living.” He didn’t speak for or against it….he just let the listeners know that UT exists; and I never forgot it. Good luck to you all.

I have been drinking urine for 3 years. I have not had a cold or flu even though I work in a hospital. I am 52, have no arthritis and am as healthy as most 20 year olds. I look 35 at most and don’t use moisterizer. I don’t even have a very healthy diet and I smoke!

  • steve

I’ve been doing p-shots for the last year and a half. one once every morning. and yes it’s everything wonderful that everybody else has written. turned on a friend with very bad periosis to it one month ago, he’s totally cured and his wife wants to know what he did. he can’t tell he, so he said a new perscription. that was good enough for her. and now just turned on another friend this evening who was wondering about it because of his poor health, but didn’t have the nerve to try. he now has the nerve to try it tomorrow morning, now that he knows it works and it’s not as grose as you first persive. the mental enlightenment is one of the greatest gifts along with the great health. this is were health care needs to begin.

OK – I’m gonna weigh in here – to all you nay-sayers. I was recently hospitalised with cellulitis November 29th, 2009 and met a naturopath in the opposite bed, whilst in hospital. I had read a little about those who did this, including Gandhi and thought “Ok, but maybe not for me”. The lady’s husband brought in Martha M. Wright’s book “Your Own Perfect Medicine” for me to read.

I decided to try it to aid the healing of my foot and bathed my foot in it several times per day. started drinking it with a medicine measure (30-40 mls) on 2nd December. I devoured about 3/4 of the book before we were both discharged and searched it out on the Internet.

My colon (severely blocked and causing bloating due to Diabetes) started to unblock. I have lost almost 10kgs in 3 weeks, and the most amazing and unexpected thing has happened. All over my arms for years, I have had what I described as “lizard skin” – just a sort of “constantly peeling” look which no matter how much I emery-papered and applied moisturisers to, returned as soon as the moisturiser wore off – well, it’s totally gone!!! that was after the first NINE days!

On the back of both hands I had small flattish wart-like lumps which I used to scratch off periodically, but they always grew back (they are TOTALLY GONE too!) and I am sleeping like a baby!!

Am I a convert? YOU bet your life! – my skin looks like it did when I was 30 (and I am 57 years old!!!!!) I feel like writing a book about this and would love to lecture on the subject, as I am able to convince more and more people to try it and relate their success stories – read some more is my advice, don’t just go “Ugh!” like most uninformed “:chicken s–t” people
    Regards and best of health!

  • Pee Drinker

I heard about U.T a week or so ago. Went fully into the practice, drank practically every bit of urine I produced (following the mid-stream guide). First two times experienced mild stomach upset but that never happens now. Have not noticed any bad side-effects whatsoever so am going to continue with the practice for several months at least. I enjoy breaking the social taboo of drinking one’s own urine. I don’t find it disgusting at all, in fact I quite enjoy it at times. I keep a cup in the bathroom to use each time. I am hesitant to make broad claims about its effectiveness just yet but I have been feeling quite healthy. Yesterday I went for a 7+ mile bike ride in the very cold weather (snowed previous day, temperature around 40) and usually this tires me out significantly and leaves me with the symptoms of a slight cold for a day or so. I returned home, had a warm cup of tea, and felt just as well as before I had even gone out! Urine therapy has given me a new confidence with my health. I expect that, unless any negative side-effects reveal themselves after a month or so of treatment, I will be able to live free of the concerns about catching minor colds and such or at least enjoy a very quick recovery. One theory I have seen is that by re-ingesting one’s urine, the immune system is strengthened significantly. Thus it would seem that a daily practice of re-ingesting one’s urine acts as a regulated medicine to keep the body system healthy. Perhaps this explains why, after drinking my urine, for about 15-30minutes my body feels energized in a way that I have never experienced even with healthy vitamin rich juices and such. Something worth considering. For me, I will keep doing it until I notice a bad side-effect, and if there are none, I see no reason not to continue.

  • http://www.macroplastic.com James

I’ve started on this and I hope this works out good. Felt disgusting at first, but now it’s tolerable. And so I intend to keep on doing it unless I suffer bad side effects. Wish me luck.

  • Margaret RUSSELL

Keep up the good work James! I have been doing this since early December 2009, and can honestly say I have never felt better! I have just cured osteomyelitis in my toe (after the gung-ho Dr wanted to “debride” (operate, scrape the bone and shorten the toe and probably AMPUTATE – and with diabetics it NEVER stops at a small amputation!)

I have just commenced a Bachelor of Health Science – Naturopathy – and intend to specialise in Urine Therapy. Oh, and did I mention? I am 58 years old, now full of energy and amazing my own family and friends and fellw students with my energy levels!

I now intend to try a few days (maybe a week) of total urine and water fast as that is the preferred optimum method of curing many things (J.W.Armstrong “The Water of Life”) Will keep this site posted,

I’m 17 years old. I have bad bad acne scars and still some acne. It’s depressing. I was searching for a cure for my acne. When I first saw a post about UT I was like OH! That sounds easy enough seems to work, I’m down :) I’m a very very open minded person. If I see that it works, why not!? I mean yeah, it is pee. BUT mind you there are grosser things. And it doesn’t even taste that bad. I only did it for 2 days so far but I already see some results. I got the nerve to taste it today! Lol. It really isn’t that gross. I can’t wait to see drastic results! :) DO NOT bash this until you tried it. Because my friend, I assure you once you try it, you’ll be amazed at the results. Thanks everyone :)

    • Margaret RUSSELL

      Hi Rayna!
Yes, in my research I have read that it is great for acne scars and indeed, with the difference I observed in my own skin being the very first thing that I noticed when I started, I can vouch for its efficacy as a skin healer. Having first gotten rid of cellulitis in my right foot and then osteomyelitis in a toe on my left fot, I am a total convert, I can assure you. I wish I could bathe in it but since the only bathroom in this house that actually contains a bathtub, is used by a couple of other people, I somehow do NOT think that they would be very happy to have a tubfull of my urine taking up residence even for a short while. I do have amazing results curing leg ulcers by soaking in urine, and am healing my own, as well as those of a man in Sydney (his Dr.s wanted to perform surgery and he refused as he knew of 3 other people who had their ulcers cleaned out and they are all now dead!) It gives me such a good feeling to call him and hear that his ulceration is almost totally healed and of course his Dr’s are impressed too. – Regards, Margaret (Brisbane Australia)

    • Margaret RUSSELL

      Hey Rayna!
Hoow’s the skin now since doing this? I am interested to know. I’ve just had another amazing cure – from constantly pricking my fingers to test my blood (Diabetes is the PITS!) I developed osteomyelitis in my 3rd finger, left hand – developed white callus-like formation on tip then started to go purple – I kept drinking urine as usual then soaked the finger each day and voila! after peeling, the purple faded and it’s now GONE! and YES, it was idagnosed with an XRay – so will have another XRay to confirm the healing – the Dr again is surprised at the results.
      Regards
      Marg Brisbane Australia

I was in Nicaragua years ago and came down with this skin allergy from head to toe, I was in so much pain my whole body was swollen in welts, the doctors had no answer. I was staying with a local family who swore by urine therapy, by this stage I was willing to try anything. After 24hrs of drinking the midstream of my morning urine and rubbing it into my skin 3xs a day it was gone, since then I have recommende it to friends kids with skin problems, it is a miracle and thats why they call it the golden elixir!!!

Thanks for speaking up about UT. I became acquainted with it in Guatemala where I worked for 15 years. Dr. Atom Inoue (now in Columbia) taught me. I practiced and taught it to a lot of people there. Guatemalans generally didn’t turn up their noses but would usually comment that they’d already heard about it on the internet or from their grandmother. UT is gentler than any other drug-based therapy. It’s one treatment for any illness. It improves your defenses. Highly recommended. Not very popular, though, in the USA.

      @ Terry, Hello:
I am from Guatemala and I live there. May I ask you to direct me to someone you taught this therapy so that I could ask them how to do it. I have been very sick from an asthma that just appear on my 45th birthday, it had never affected me before. I am really interested in beginning this therapy, I am desperate and I would really appreciated if you can.
Thanks a lot and hope you read this not to you from me.

I have been suffering from systemic candida for over a year now, and I’ve tried so many things to no avail. It is ruining my life, costing far too much money that I don’t or no longer have, and forcing me to live a very isolated life. This evening, I made a list of everything I’ve tried, including a very strict diet (which I stick to) and it totaled 30 things. I don’t want to put a pricetag to each item because it would really make me sick.

About a week ago, I asked the heavens, my spirit guide, God, or whoever would listen, to help me find a solution. I’m not a religious type but I was desperate. I actually forgot I asked but last night, just as I was falling asleep, the words “pee into yourself” came into my head. It woke me up, and as I awakened and thought about it, I remembered that I’d heard in a movie actually, that men in the Army are told to pee on their feet if they have athlete’s foot. I thought, Candida is a fungus, just like athlete’s foot, why wouldn’t it help that too? So I’m about to embark on this same journey and I’ll report back in a month. I promise!

A few years ago, my joints in my fingers hurt quite a bit. I tried drinking my own urine and the pain went away completely only a few hours later. I currently drink a small glass every morning and feel great. I have lots of energy and have started exercising again. I am 45 and in my 30′s had very little energy until I reached 40 and tried it. I have never experienced anything negative with drinking urine. Might not be for everyone, but I have no complaints.

Fantastic to see so many people looking into pee-shots. I wrote in a year ago about a friend with psoriasis, it’s gone and he’s still a practicing urine drinker. It has changed my whole life. Hold it in your mouth for as long as you can, it really opens up the brain to new thoughts and perceptions. I’ve really been trying to turn people on to the idea. There all just so close minded. It does wonders on the skin, pee on the wash cloth, get it soaking wet, wipe yourself down and just stand in the shower or tub and let the pee do it’s work. You’ll notice it will never dry, you literally stand there wet for as long as you stand there. Then rinse off with just water, no soap. And you will feel fantastic for the next day, your skin will thank you. My hair loss is starting to return to hair growth, it works!!!

Steve,   I agree with everything you’ve said.  I had a skin rash that two different doctors and one dermatologist couldn’t get a handle on for over a year.  Since I’ve always been one to drink my own pee anyway (I’ve always loved the taste of it.) I thought I’d give it a try.  I drink as much of my nectar as I can during the morning, and then save up the rest in a large glass for use in the evening.  With this, I wet down a wash cloth and rub down my entire body with the warm liquid.  I pour a good amount into the sink in order to thoroughly rinse my face and to wassh my hair.  I also save enough to use when brushing my teeth.  I realize that because I’ve always been an avid pee drinker that this therapy comes easier for me than most.  But I do believe, however, that if one tries this for long, they’ll not only be thoroughly convinced of its curative properties, but will find the entire exercise to be fun, relaxing and from a taste point of view, totally enjoyable.

    Hi Ed!
Yes urine is FANTASTIC for the skin. Look at the ingredients in any skin creams especially those for cracked heels etc and you will find “UREA”. This is the magic ingredient that does the trick! In the USA it is a $500 MILLION industry! (just for the supply of urine from certain urinals) The age spots have improved on the back of my hands which has truly amazed everyone and everone has noticed a much calmer aura around me. At 59, I am thrilled to have a new lease on life!

    Hi Margaret,
I resumed UT after a gap of 3 years. I drink the mid-stream morning urine. I had a bottle of 4-year old urine stored, and I applied that on my face every morning for about 8 days. My facial skin was was dry, with milia, freckles and premature wrinkles. However, the dry skin became worse, my skin began peeling and was rough, the skin got puffed up and red, itchy and the wrinkles seem to be deepening.
Since the last two days I am using boiled old (4 days old) urine on my face, but there isn’t much improvement. I wonder whether I should be using fresh morning urine instead of the old stuff, though everywhere I’ve been reading that old urine is best for external application.
I am a vegetarian, and since I began this eat saltless food for the second half of the day … which is usually some fruit and a few nuts, and today I began on ground flaxseed tea with cinnamon and honey.

I hope to get rid of a bad case of tennis elbows with the UT, but am doing it to observe results on various fronts and making note of everything.

I’ve written all these details so that anyone serious about it finds it useful.

Would like to know if you and others who’ve benefitted from urine application used old or fresh urine, whether you rubbed it in to dry, or like Steve, let it stay wet till you washed it off. Texts recommend not to rub in or massage in fresh urine since it can waste away muscle … haven’t had that corraborated yet … but well we have to establish things for ourselves, haven’t we? :)

BTW old urine boiled is really foul smelling, and takes some mind stuff to keep on !

Late response but the 4 year old urine would have been too strong for the skin. It actually burns away the skin issue. But for your peculiar problem use relatively fresh urine. 2-8 days old. It’ll work.

I believe that OLD urine is good for severe burns, but I would not use it for general skin application, preferring fresh urine or maybe a few days old (providing it has been stored in airtight glass)

I still drink mid-stream urine every morning but unfortunately cannot bathe in it at the moment as I have been in plaster for 15 weeks, and unfortunately it does NOT cure BONES – more’s the pity!

I wish I knew another urine afficionado in Brisbane so that I could get it massaged into my skin by someone who is not squeamish about its use, and then I could return the favour (and anyone reading this, who doe NOT use it, will REALLY think I’ve lost the plot now – lol – but until you’ve seen and felt the benefits – you cannot possibly imagine, :)
    Regards

Thank you much Steve and Margaret (I can’t see Steve’s response here about very old urine burning skin). So that’s what I was doing wrong … I’m putting coconut oil on my burning face now, and it is healing well.

today I used about 10-day old urine mixed with some fresh to massage onto my skin. I do not leave cloth or anything on my skin ever.

Margaret, wish you speedy recovery with that leg … Shivambu Gita mentions urine being able to aid healing of bone fractures. The book, though not very well written, is available for a free download on the net.

One very noticeable positive I’ve had even before I’ve completed a month of internal UT is that my sweat has become odorless. Though I prefer not to, I’ve always needed to use a frangrance free deodorant … and even then in summers, and times in winter, I’ve had to wash up again by evening. Now for the first time, I’m thankfully not using deodorant, and have no body odor whatsoever even after being out in the sweltering heat the whole day!!! For me this is amazing and its just great,,,, hurrah is all I can say for UT. I aim for success with the tennis elbow too, and I’ll post it here, along with progress on how the dry, peeling, wrinkling, buring face gets healed.
