RINA JAKUBOWICZ HAS TAUGHT yoga for more than 11 years and this summer, she’s partnering with Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health to launch the first-ever Spanish-language yoga teacher training at a major school of yoga in the United States. The program will run from July 31st-August 12th and again from October 30th-November 11th at the Kripalu Center in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.

Rina was born in Venezuela. Her mom is from Cuba and her dad is from Argentina. She hopes that offering yoga training in Spanish will help break down barriers in the yoga community that often have made it not inclusive towards people of color. She also hopes that the spiritual aspects of yoga can help the Latino community come to a greater understanding of their identity.
