I went 40years ago, so the queues may be even longer now! In New York, the biggest rip off is the Central Park carriage rides. Prague is quite busy but I’m glad I went and I think it will change in the future. Be on the look out for pickpockets. Males can be surrounded by young women and often loose their money! I saw another tourist get victimized by a pickpocket out of his backpack while IN THE CHURCH! That's another downside to the packed madhouse, you can never tell why someone is actually bumping into you. I did Paris and Notre Dame in January and I got to see everything I wanted to. The Step Pyramids are interesting, less crowded and feel more accessible than the well known Giza complex.
