She focuses on lesser-known experiences and destinations and solo female travel on her blog Jessie on a Journey and food, drink, culture and sustainability on her travel magazine Epicure & Culture. She's taught English in Thailand, worked at an orphanage in Ghana, hiked her way through China, backpacked South America, Europe and French Polynesia solo, and studied abroad in Australia.
