It’s the first week in October, and I have just touched down at San Diego International Airport (SAN) after a six-hour flight from Boston.
Over the next few days, I will stay at two hotels in Carlsbad: one across from the beach, the other a historic Old Hollywood hideaway. I will walk barefoot on the beach and dip my toes in the Pacific, experience a sound bath, see skateboarders, take my inner child to Legoland, go on a food tour, get spooked at a haunted Halloween corn maze, and relax in my suites.
