Fans of Queer Eye who happen to be engaged might be able to check one item off their wedding to-do list. A new contest from Elysian Brewing and Seattle Pride is offering a unique grand prize: having Jonathan Van Ness as your wedding officiant.

The grooming expert will perform a ceremony on June 4, 2019 — marking both Pride Month and the one year anniversary of a Colorado baker refusing to bake a cake for a same-sex couple — at Elysian Brewing’s Capitol Hill brewpub in Seattle.

In a statement, Van Ness said, “I’m so excited to team up with Elysian Brewing during Seattle Pride to share the message that all people should be free and proud to express themselves as they are. I can’t wait for June.” Elysian Co-Founder Joe Bisacca echoed Van Ness’ call for inclusiveness, saying, “I want Elysian to always be a safe place where anyone within our network can show up as their authentic selves. You don’t need to change who you are to make other people feel comfortable.”

The event will coincide with the return of Elysian’s GLITTERis Pride Ale, available on June 1. Sales of the ale will directly benefit Seattle and San Francisco Pride.

To enter the contest, simply share a video (60 seconds or less) about you and your partner’s love story on Instagram before May 10, using the hashtag #MarryUsJVN and #Contest, and tag @ElysianBrewing and @SeattlePride. For more information, check out the official website of the contest.
