Las Vegas and Hello Kitty might sound like an unlikely combo, but the lovable Japanese character is defying expectations by coming to the Strip in the shape of a super cute cafe.

Located outdoors between New York-New York Hotel & Casino and Park MGM, the Hello Kitty Cafe will open its doors in a shipping container-style location. Even amid a city defined by bright colors and flashing lights, you won’t be able to miss the little cafe, with its bright pink color scheme and Hello Kitty graphics covering the walls.

The cafe will serve a variety of themed drinks and sweets treats, such as Hello Kitty-inspired ice cream, cookies, cakes, and donuts.

The cafe will open on Friday, July 12, at 11:00 AM, and Hello Kitty herself will be there to greet guests until 1:00 PM, and again from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

If you’re one of the cafe’s first 50 customers, you will receive a special gift with your food, but if you miss the cut, don’t worry, the cafe will offer a collection of Sanrio merchandise available for purchase to all customers.
