Where is Jackson Hole, Wyoming?

Jackson Hole is a valley located in the northwestern part of Wyoming, and Jackson is the main town in Jackson Hole. Teton Village is the name of the “town” closest to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, which is about a 20-minute drive from Jackson. The closest airport to Jackson Hole is Jackson Hole Airport, which is small but served by major airlines like  Delta, United, American, and Alaska. How far is Jackson Hole from Yellowstone?

Jackson Hole is south of Yellowstone National Park. The closest park entrance is the south entrance, which is 57 miles away. The drive takes about an hour and 15 minutes without any traffic, but remember, if you’re visiting in winter, that ice and snow can make the drive take much longer. The south entrance is usually open year-round, but it may still close temporarily during heavy storms.
