King Ridge 6 Penthouse
- Bedrooms: 3
- Sleeps: 8
- Rates from: $259/night (or $32.50 per person)
Three bedrooms, mountain views, and space to sleep eight guests at under $50 per person per night is what you get at the King Ridge 6 Penthouse, which also happens to be within walking distance of downtown Jackson. This is a great rental for a summer or winter Jackson Hole bachelorette party as it has a huge mountain-facing deck with an outdoor hot tub and a second patio with an outdoor grill. It’s also one of the few pet-friendly Airbnb rentals in downtown Jackson Hole, so snap it up if one of your bachelorette attendees happens to be four-legged.
Modern Mountain Retreat
- Bedrooms: 4
- Sleeps: 12
- Rates from: $675/night (or $56.25 per person)
If your group loves the idea of doing a mountain bachelorette party but you’re not all about that mountain log cabin look, check out the aptly named Modern Mountain Retreat. It’s in Idaho, just across the state border from Jackson (it’s about a 30-minute drive to Jackson). But even if you never actually go into Jackson, you’ll have plenty to do in Victor. It’s sort of considered a more affordable version of Jackson, and in fact, many people who work in Jackson Hole actually live in Victor.
The Modern Mountain Retreat sits on three acres and has multiple decks and patios, including one with a covered hot tub and one with a large outdoor fire pit. Inside, you get a large living room with enough seating for the whole crew and a roomy kitchen so everyone can pitch in with cooking or making cocktails. The owners also have an SUV available to rent in case you’re having trouble finding a rental during your Jackson Hole bachelorette party.
One Town Hill Penthouse Suite
- Bedrooms: 2
- Sleeps: 6
- Rates from: $751/night (or $125 per person)
If you want to be able to walk to downtown bars, restaurants, and shopping in the town of Jackson, consider the One Town Hill Penthouse Suite. It’s the biggest unit in a condo building and has views of the town plus a private hot tub. It only has two bedrooms, but since there’s a pull-out sofa in the living room and a double-bed bunk in one of the bedrooms, it can still fit a medium-sized group. It’s also ski-in, ski-out, making it one of the best picks for a winter Jackson Hole bachelorette party.
- Bedrooms: 3
- Sleeps: 10
- Rates from: $1,000 a night (or $100 per person)
The Cabin is everything you’d expect from an Airbnb in the Western US. It’s an updated log cabin home, originally built in the 1940s. It’s very close to Snow King (the smaller ski resort closer to downtown Jackson), which means you’ll have easy access to hiking trails if you book it for a summer Jackson Hole bachelorette party. It’s an Airbnb Luxe home, which means you can add options like private chefs, airport transportation, activity booking, or a pre-arrival concierge who can stock the home with food and drink before you arrive.
If you decide to book this property, plan at least one night at home to have dinner al fresco and evening s’mores and drinks around the fire pit. If you don’t feel like cooking, there are plenty of private chefs you can hire for an evening to whip up a group meal on the home’s outdoor patio grill.
Granite Creek Escape
- Bedrooms: 8
- Sleeps: 16+
- Rates from: $2,100/night (or $131.25 per person)
Granite Creek Escape is another classic western ski lodge-type home and a great Airbnb for a Jackson Hole bachelorette party if you want to do some hiking. It’s in the north part of Teton Village, making it only a 5-7 minute drive from Grand Teton National Park. It’s gorgeous inside and out, with stone archways, a large outdoor dining area, and a room hot tub reached via a descending staircase surrounded by plants and trees. Also especially nice for a group is the basement rec room, with a built-in bar and lots of seating — perfect for movie nights.
Sublette Ski Lodge
- Bedrooms: 6
- Sleeps: 14
- Rates from: $2,299 a night (or $164 per person)
Sublette Ski Lodge is one of the best Airbnbs for a Jackson Hole bachelorette party if you have a large group that plans to ski. It’s in Teton Village, the lodging area near the back of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. That puts you within walking distance of the mountain and means you can take advantage of shuttle transportation through the village to reach shopping and popular bars like the Mangy Moose. Oh, and if you’ve got mountain bikers in your group, they’ll be happy to know this rental is very close to the resort’s lift-serviced mountain bike park.
Sublette Ski Lodge, which is about 20 minutes north of Jackson proper, has plenty of things to do at home if you don’t feel like going out in the evenings, though. There’s a pool table, a foosball table, a ping pong table, a private sauna, and a covered outdoor hot tub.
- Bedrooms: 5
- Sleeps: 13
- Rates from: $2,499/night (or $192 per person)
If six acres with mountain views sounds good to you, check out the Wilderness Lodge for your Jackson Hole bachelorette party. Unlike many of the roomier homes in Jackson, Wilderness Lodge has a more modern design. Of course, that doesn’t mean you have to give up traditional mountain amenities like an in-deck hot tub, a private sauna, or giant picture windows with mountain views. The owners can also help you arrange activities or airport transportation, as well as a private chef or daily maid service.
Antelope Trails Ranch
- Bedrooms: 10
- Sleeps: 28
- Rates from: $10,000/night (or $357 per person)
Antelope Trails Ranch is a strong contender for being the most gorgeous Airbnb in Jackson Hole. The house has 67 private acres, across which you’ll be able to take advantage of 10 miles of hiking trails, nearly 1,000 feet of waterfront access along the Snake River, outdoor fire pits, a nine-hole disc golf course, and lots of lawn games. It also comes with bikes, kayaks, and paddleboards to use on-site.
The full rental at the Ranch includes three homes that can sleep 28 people, and you can choose how catered you’d like it to be. Renters can opt for a fully catered Jackson Hole bachelorette party, complete with meals and activities like fly fishing, wildlife safaris, or guided horseback rides, or rent the homes only. Contact the owners through Airbnb before booking to discuss the best combination of homes for your group and ensure your price includes all the amenities you do (or don’t) want.
Where is Jackson Hole, Wyoming?
Jackson Hole is a valley located in the northwestern part of Wyoming, and Jackson is the main town in Jackson Hole. Teton Village is the name of the “town” closest to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, which is about a 20-minute drive from Jackson. It’s part of the Teton Mountain Range, and is known for its scenic beauty and outdoor recreational opportunities, including skiing, hiking, and wildlife watching (wolves! grizzlies! elk!)
The closest airport to Jackson Hole is Jackson Hole Airport, which is small but served by major airlines like Delta, United, American, and Alaska. There are actually a good number of direct flights from towns like NYC, Denver, Salt Lake, and LA, so it may be an easier-than-expected location for everyone to reach, especially if your guests are coming from across the country.
How far is Jackson Hole from Yellowstone?
Jackson Hole is south of Yellowstone National Park. The closest park entrance is the south entrance, which is 57 miles away. The drive takes about an hour and 15 minutes without any traffic, but remember, if you’re visiting in winter, that ice and snow can make the drive take much longer. The south entrance is usually open year-round, but it may still close temporarily during heavy storms.
However, if you’d like to explore a national park during your Jackson Hole bachelorette party, you could instead head to Grand Teton National Park. The southern entrance to the park is 12 miles north of Jackson, and the drive takes about 20 minutes. But remember that the distance to where you want to go in Grand Teton National Park, may be a little further. For example, driving to popular Jenny Lake takes about 30-35 minutes from Jackson, depending on traffic.
What to do in Jackson Hole in the summer
Jackson Hole is a gorgeous mountain town in the Teton Mountain Range, so it has all the activities you’d expect from a world-class mountain destination, including hiking, mountain biking, rafting and paddling, camping, rock climbing, and more.
But the best things to do in Jackson Hole in the summer are the activities you can only find in a few places around the country, like Jackson Hole. That includes wildlife tours via helicopter or ATV to see moose, grizzlies, and mountain goats; visiting nearby parks like Yellowstone and Grand Teton; and taking a morning hot air balloon ride above the mountains (with mimosas and muffins, of course).
Jackson is known as a luxury destination, and while there are certainly pricey activities, remember that adventures, like hiking, picnicking, swimming and floating in mountain lakes, and attending summer festivals, are almost always free (or at least very inexpensive).
