What would you say if someone asked you to write a letter to your future self? Would you celebrate how far you’ve come, marvel at your growth, or whisper words of encouragement for the roads still ahead?
Now imagine doing that after spending a week in Japan—with fourteen strangers who, between temples and train rides, began to feel like family. That was the challenge I gave my first group to Japan—to reflect not only on what they saw, but on who they became along the way.
