People will go to extreme lengths for free stuff, especially when it comes to travel, but there’s definitely a line that shouldn’t be crossed. In this case, that line is climbing onto an airplane wing to hitch a free flight.

An Azman Air flight from Lagos to Port Harcourt, Nigeria was delayed on Friday after a man reportedly climbed onto the wing of the aircraft during the taxi phase, while the pilots were waiting for takeoff clearance from air traffic control.

The man had luggage which he allegedly stored in one of the plane’s engines. Thankfully, pilots saw the man as soon as he approached the aircraft and turned off the engine right away.

The flight was delayed while the situation was handled. Passengers and crew members were also asked to disembark for additional security checks. The man is said to have been swiftly taken into custody and the flight resumed as scheduled.
