MY PRODUCER AND I TOTALLY went out on a limb to make this video. We spent several weeks living with ethnically Kazakh eagle hunters on the Russian-Mongolian border in their traditional gers. It was wild. Training eagles to hunt, herding yaks, and racing camels are just a few of their daily activities. We’re really passionate about their story, in part because we’re also nomads: we move every 3-10 days to cover ground as travel filmmakers. Saddle up and enjoy the ride.
