The Great Ocean Road starts at Torquay in the Surf Coast region of Victoria, and ends at Allansford in the southwest of the state. Along the way you will find some great towns including Anglesea, Lorne, Apollo Bay, Port Campbell and Warrnambool. No matter which direction you head along the great ocean road – you’re sure to be rewarded with spectacular views of rugged cliffs, pristine beaches and captivating landscapes that extend out into Bass Strait and beyond.

If you stop at all the locations recommended below, it’ll be about a five-hour drive. But considering how many more places there are to stop and how much time you’ll want to spend at each place, it’s a good idea to make it into a two-day trip. Around the halfway point is Apollo Bay, a town with lodging ranging from glamping to beachside resorts.
