The quarter life crisis is real. It is filled with depressing thoughts about our future and our place in the world and it is reinforced by the fact that we feel the need to compete with everyone else on social media. On Facebook and Instagram, we must look as if we got life and happiness all figured out, when we are just struggling with the idea of becoming adults and what it entails.

Take a break from it all, millennials. There is more to life than sitting in a grey cubicle in front of a laptop with morbid thoughts. You need to experience more than the easy, comfortable, and often boring path you’re on and gain some perspective. You don’t have to go far and turn into a wild nomad, just get out there as often as you can and see how others live, what the world has to offer, and what you are capable of when left to your own devices. It’s worth it, believe me.
