Nothing is quite as satisfying as setting the clocks forward in mid-March. Not only have you given yourself the gift of time – to enjoy the longer, brighter days – but you’ve symbolically turned the page to festival season. With all due respect to Santa Claus, this is the most wonderful time of the year. It’s when 20- and 30-somethings crawl out of winter hibernation, rub their bleary eyes, and see colorful visions of crowded stadiums, and hear a pulsing beat echoing from somewhere faraway. Maybe they even dig out their most ridiculous-looking tinted sunglasses in preparation for what’s to come.
