About Matador
Welcome to Matador, the world’s first fully interactive travel magazine.
Matador is both an online travel magazine and a thriving social network. Or, more simply put, it’s a community.
Communities are created out of need. In our case, the need was to connect certain people, passionate travelers, people for whom traveling begins with respect and appreciation for the land and local people, appreciation for the place.
Through Matador we publish stories, photography, and video; we raise questions and share ideas and information in a way that isn’t bounded by geography or culturem but ripples out from one traveler to another worldwide. Over time, these connections, dialogues, and relationships are affecting positive changes and creating new opportunities in the real world.
