Perth is the capital of Western Australia, and often credited as being the most isolated city in the world.
Due to its geogrpahy, Perth has vast wilderness access, from the green park and bushland of Kings Park overlooking downtown Perth, to the Swan River running through the city. The coastline has dozens of world class surf breaks.
Sightseeing highlights include the Perth Mint, the Swan Bells Tower and the Western Australian Museums, as well as the Art Gallery of Western Australia.
Tthe Perth restaurant scene has taken off in the past few years, and Northbridge and Fremantle offer excellent nightlife.
