It took me a long time to accept the fact that adding structure and routine to my workday was not the equivalent of giving up the freedom of entrepreneurship that I had longed for throughout my years as an employee.
The idea of working from home had been a fantasy for so long that when that day actually came, I didn’t want to let go of my dream and accept the unplanned realities of this lifestyle. It almost felt like a failure, or a step backward to need rigidity in my day when my vision had always been so free-flowing and flexible.
