You could have easily mistaken this beautiful white sandy beach with crystal clear blue waters to be taken somewhere in the tropics but this is actually in @tasmania and is the stunning Fortescue Bay on the @tasmanpeninsula! #tasmanpeninsula @hobartandbeyond #hobartandbeyond #discovertasmania

8. Shawn Reeder, Glacier Point in Yosemite.
***National Parks Week Free Print Giveaway Day 5!*** Today is Earth Day and my final day of giving away free prints for National Parks week, so I decided for my final image to pick maybe my all time favorite. A friend and I were at Glacier Point in Yosemite watching a gray day fade into the depths of darkness when for only a moment the light came through and lit up the sky with the most beautiful colors. I don’t think it lasted 30 seconds, but it felt like an eternity as the majestic Half Dome was crowned in light like I’ve never seen before. We gave thanks instantly knowing we had just witnessed magic. Thank you Yosemite for all the magic you’ve so graciously offered into my life. Onward! In honor and celebration of National Parks week I am giving away a free print from a National Park every day, all you have to do is comment and share! I’ll pick one lucky person each day who has commented or shared that days image. I can’t tell you all how much joy it has brought me to read your comments and shares this week, thank you so much! I appreciate you all beyond words. “Half Dome Crowned in Color – Yosemite National Park, California”
