A friend and I were at Glacier Point in Yosemite watching a gray day fade into the depths of darkness when for only a moment the light came through and lit up the sky with the most beautiful colors. I don’t think it lasted 30 seconds, but it felt like an eternity as the majestic Half Dome was crowned in light like I’ve never seen before.
