For the longest time I couldn’t figure out why I was so easily bored by things, and why I could never think of what I really wanted to do. Something would catch my attention, and I’d devote 150% into pursuing a new passion, only to become bored of it quickly. I thought something was wrong with me for not being able to specialize like we’re taught at a young age to start thinking about. Recently I blamed this on my Pitta fire, my intensity so strong that I’d just burn out. But no, as of yesterday I think i finally figured it out; there was something to describe me. I’m not a specialist, because I’m a multipotentialite. I’m not interested in just one thing, because I’m interested in many. I’m not just bored, I’m thirsty for more. And while I might not be devout to one craft, the skills I learn from the many I pursue are transferrable to the next. Being a multipotentialite is not a disadvantage. We, like specialists, are both important. Are you a multipotentialite? #tbt to former days when when a former passion ran deep.

THE WAITING GAME BETWEEN FEAR AND LOVE. Do you dare stay out, do you dare go in? How much can you lose? How much can you win? And if you go in, should you turn left or right? Or right and three quarters or maybe not quite? You can get so confused that you’ll start in to race down long wiggled roads at a break-necking pace, and grind on for miles across weirdish wild space, headed I fear towards a most useless place. The waiting place. For people just waiting, waiting for a train to go, for a bus to come, or a plane to go, or the mail to come, or the rain to go, or the phone to ring, or the snow to snow, or waiting around for a yes or a no…or a string of pearls or a pair of pants, or a wig with curls, or another chance. ~ Dr. Seuss ~ Oh! The places you’ll go. ➖ Drawings by the infamous @bkjackietreehorn ➖ #unionsquareyogabeirut #yogawisdom #spiritualgangsta #yogateacher #yogaeverywhere #love #yoga #yogi #fityoga #yogafitness #yogahealth #health #meditate #instagood #namaste #danielleabisaab #asana #drseuss #theplacesyoullgo #relationships #change #growth #loveandfear #nofear #goin #allin #allone
