Have you ever visited a new country and been surprised by what their inhabitants actually eat? Sometimes our stereotypes get a few things rights (Mexicans do love tacos, Canadians eat poutine), but that’s not the most usual situation. Will you only eat potatoes if you go to Ireland? Do the French eat baguettes all the time? What about Greece and gyros?

The guys at Home Run Inn Pizza got curious about how accurate or inaccurate are American stereotypes when it comes to foreign food, so they made a survey about 25 countries and gathered the results in this useful infographic.
