You Can Stay in the Italian Villa From 'Under the Tuscan Sun'

Italy Epic Stays Entertainment

It’s pretty much impossible to watch “Under the Tuscan Sun” and not fantasize about living in Tuscany. The movie might be 15 years old, but you probably still remember the Italian villa with its beautiful garden and stunning views of the green countryside, which Frances, the main character, buys and renovates. Well, now you can stay in it.

Villa Laura, the villa from the film, is located in Cortona and was renovated to resemble the perfect Tuscan retreat. The kitchen has been modernized, and there are 10 bedrooms and 10.5 bathrooms, perfect for big family getaways or entertaining guests. While the villa’s aesthetic and location might channel a simpler time, make no mistake — this will be a luxurious experience.

The property includes a farmhouse, conservatory, and backyard with a lush garden. In case you were worried about getting bored, there’s also a pool, hammock, bocce court, and outdoor dining area. And, of course, the home comes with a pizza oven. The villa is also conveniently located near the town of Cortona and Lake Trasimeno beach, and it’s only an hour and a half away from Florence.

If you’d like to book the villa, you’ll have to stay a minimum of seven nights, but we can’t think of a reason why anybody would want to stay for less time.
