You’ve probably seen the floating breakfast trend that’s been circulating the internet by now. A hotel in Guizhou, China, found a way to one-up it — the Sanchunli Meng Resort Hotel floats a full-on mattress in an infinity pool so you can take the most serene nap of all time.

The floating bed experience at Sanchunli Meng Resort Hotel is like that scene in The Parent Trap where Meredith Blake wakes up in the middle of a lake after Lindsay Lohan’s character launches her dad’s fiance’s inflatable mattress onto the water during a camping trip. Except in this version, the bed is as plush as the one you’d find in your hotel room, there’s no animosity between you and your soon-to-be stepdaughter, and the woodsy view showcases the beauty of a rural province in southern China.

Guizhou is an underrated destination with breathtaking scenery that centers on karst limestone formations, rolling green hills, and river valleys. From the Huangguoshu Waterfall — one of the largest in East Asia — to picturesque villages scattered among the gorgeous mountains, the province offers guests of the hotel much to explore and experience.

Sanchunli Meng Resort Hotel is situated near Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village where you can learn a lot about Miao culture through song and dance shows. The property sits very close to the village’s sightseeing platform where you can gaze out at the wood-stilted houses running alongside the Baishui River. The view is particularly nice at night when you can see all the house lamps lighting up the hillside.

The property itself is homey and elegant, with luxuriously appointed rooms, beautifully manicured garden, and multiple swings on the property where you can snap enviable Instagram photos — including one above the infinity pool where you can arrange a floating mattress.

Price per night: From $105
