How to Help People in Ukraine

As the Russian invasion of Ukraine continues, many people around the world are looking for ways they can help those in need of assistance.

This list of trusted organizations are accepting donations or are otherwise great resources for anyone interested in giving aid.

UNICEF: The non-political group is providing lifesaving support for the 7.5 million children in Ukraine. Donations pay for workers to provide healthcare and assistance.

Care International: Donations go to provide food, hygiene kits, and psychosocial support with a goal to help 4 million people in Ukraine — primarily women, children, and the elderly.

United Help Ukraine: The group works to engage media and politicians in the United States to help those in Ukraine. It also distributes contributed donations, food, and medical help to refugees and people fighting.

Sunflower of Peace: A non-profit raising money for first aid backpacks for medical personnel in Ukraine.

UN Refugee Agency: A humanitarian branch of the United Nations. Donations go to help refugees fleeing Ukraine as well as other parts of the world at war, including Afghanistan and Yemen.
