Sleeping in hotels can often be difficult — you’re in an unfamiliar environment, hearing strange noises from the street and adjacent rooms, and the beds aren’t always comfortable. But the next time you’re in London, we know a way for you to be absolutely sure you get a good night’s sleep. The Zed Rooms apartments in Shoreditch encourage maximum REM sleep and relaxation by creating a calm, cocoon-like experience for their guests.

According to Lonely Planet, in the apartments muted lightning, soft pink walls, high-tech mattresses, and special temperature-regulating pillows all facilitate the ultimate relaxation experience. The rooms also have restorative scents that help with muscle relaxation and air-cleaning soporific plants that eliminate toxins. Soothing background music will also be playing to help you unwind.

But the “Woom Room,” one of the two bedrooms available in Zed Rooms apartments, is the best part. The bedroom has a beautiful, wooden bespoke bed that resembles the shape of a womb to help you feel safe and calm, so you can curl up and sleep like a baby.
