Having a photo-less profile with a 2-sentence bio isn’t going to do anything for you. Instead, hit all these points to get noticed:
- Upload a headshot of yourself
- Write a detailed and personable bio that shows off your personality, your passions and goals, and your experience
- Include your website and any social media channels
- Add your published work
- Upload media you want to share
Matador editors and the production team are constantly scouring the community for talent for any number of projects. The more they know about you — the better you present yourself — the more chance you’ll stand out and get noticed.

Engage in the Forum
There’s a full spectrum of talent and experience in the community. If you’re new to all of this, feel free to ask any questions. In the creative world, collaborating with others can be a very enriching experience and can produce a work quality that otherwise would not be possible.
