Norwegian Cruise Line Is Giving a Free Cruise to One Person From Every US State

The winners from each state will be chosen based on who receives the most nominations. People are encouraged to nominate those who deserve applause (or an “encore”) for a positive impact they made in the lives of friends or family. “Tell us why your nominee is an everyday hero,” reads the contest description, “then cast your vote.”

To nominate someone, fill out the nomination form online, with a 1,250-character description of why you are nominating the person. Then, whether you’ve nominated someone or not, you can search all of the nominations and vote on who you think is most deserving.

Nominations are open from September 18 to October 18, with the finalists being notified on October 21. Finalists will be required to verify their act or good deed through either news articles, social media, or a valid personal reference. Winners will be announced on or around November 1.
