West Africa is among the most culturally rich parts of the world, though the region is often overlooked by travelers from the United States. That could change in 2025, as United Airlines and Virgin Atlantic debut and ramp up direct flight service to Accra, the country’s capital. United will increase service to six times per week from Washington Dulles International Airport in February and March, with Virgin making its debut flight into the country in May.
