Melania Trump’s homeland has seen a massive spike in interest since 2016, and not just because people are interested in where she's from. Pictures of the Julian Alps, where you can hike from hut to hut for weeks on end, whet our collective appetites. And then, inevitably, we run into the even more inviting images of Lake Bled.
We’ll show you how to hike through spots like Triglav National Park — and all the other places to find the best scenery in Slovenia. You’ll also learn about some of the foods to try, like the thick, meaty Bograc stew, and how to take a train trip through Slovenia, stopping in many of the country's magical seaside towns.
