Hana was raised in New Jersey (where she learned to love Bruce Springsteen), educated in Boston (where she learned how to survive in freezing temperatures), defrosted in Hawaii (where she did not learn to surf), and then spent time back East hibernating in a tiny log cabin (where she learned not to watch scary movies alone at night). Now, she moves around a lot and works mostly from other people's kitchen tables in San Francisco (where she is learning about the importance of rent control and the joy of a real burrito). Hana likes to write about traveling, food, cheap wine, cooking, mid-twenties life crises, and the lifelong hunt for the perfect soup dumpling. She also sometimes likes to write about herself in the third person. You can find some of her writing including dating disasters and food poisoning disasters here or here.
